Abstract

The exemptions to the Competition rules have been one of the main points of discussion of the 2013’s CAP reform. The analysis of the Commission proposal and the debates at the European Parliament show one of the legislator’s goals, which consist on strengthening the bargain power of the producers in order to guarantee a fair competition and a better distribution of the added value throughout the food chain.
