The vaccean wall of Cauca

Abstract

The recent finding of the vaccaean city wall of Cauca confirm our suppositions from many years ago about the place in which was situated, at the south-southwest of the city, and the construction materials that were used, mud-bricks, but the newness element is the use of stone at the foundation of the building. In this paper we are going to make a preliminary study about the technical characteristics of this public construction in relation with another vaccaean city walls.
