The purpose of this paper is to explain the relationship between the perception of narcissism and of corruption that citizens have of Colombia´s presidential candidates, taking by analyzing the photos published on the candidates´ official Facebook campaign profile. We present the main concepts about narcissism, corruption, semiotics, and political image. Through an experiment with a survey where the perception was noted through a simulation of the candidates´ official campaign Facebook pages, we tested the citizens ´perceptions of narcissism and corruption of Presidential candidates. Those results were checked with a periodic analysis on the comments published in each presidential candidate profile in social media, recognizing the most relevant characteristics of the photos studied and the citizens´ reactions.
