Abstract

Currently, titanium and its alloys are used in advanced industries, such as aeronautics, automotive
and biomedical. In this paper, we present a finite element analysis of machining of titanium and its alloys (orthogonal cutting-2D and tridimensional cutting-3D). The numerical simulations were performed using the software AdvantEdge®. Was performed validation of numerical simulations based on results available in the literature.
