The feeding system, either diesel or gasoline is a key element inside the operation of a vehicle, since an important flaw in him can provoke the permanent stop of th is vehicle. It is importa nt that it is managed the fact appropriately of either having an efficient maintenance system for this system for concept of correct actions like for correct rhythms. For these reas ons this investigation was directed to carry out a study using some tools of the operational dependability of the critical components of the feeding syst em for if it was possible to act on the maintenance rhythms and substitution of these, maki ng the vehicle so in question didn't have stopped so long neither so periodic for concept of eventual flaws. Th e tools of the mentioned dependability consist in, criti- cism (definition of critical elements) study, study of reliab ility (calculation of intervals of trust of the elements for maintenance rhythms), analysis cause-root (analysis of the causes of the flaws in these components). The te- chnique of Pareto is also used in the detection of cr itical components.
