Abstract

This work is aimed at presenting a new online platform devoted to the numerical simulation of the field of temperatures in a fluid flow in laminar regime within thicked-walled pipes. The platform is called HEATT© (Herramienta de Evaluación y Análisis Térmico en Tuberías). It is a non-profit free use software available at the world wide web based on the Network Simulation Method (NSM), that fills the gap between the more expensive thermal simulation software, addressed to technicians, designers, SMEs and technical professionals, as well as researchers and teachers of every level of education, with little resources, who need a powerful tool for reaching complex calculations of thermal behavior. It has been funded by the Seneca Foundation-Science and Technology Agency of the Region of Murcia (Spain), by means of its call “Proof of Concept 2021”.
