General principles of european food right

Abstract

Food Law is a young legal discipline, although food standards are as old as humanity itself. We should therefore make the intellectual effort to think about what are the general principles that organize, structure and give meaning to this discipline. That is precisely the purpose of this paper: to approach to this important issue.
