Law applicable to damage of defamation

Abstract

Cross-boarder litigation in cases of defamation has become one of the hot issues in Private international law. Internet communications do not respect geographical boundaries, so topics as choice of law and jurisdiction are fundamental. The traditional answers are inadequate to solve the current problems. This paper will examine future solutions and the regulations that we should apply to respond the key problems.
