This paper aims to present the application of a scheme of central finite differences O (Dx6) to solvethe Burgers ? equation, showing its efficiency and easiness for application. The paper starts with the comparisonswith other methods proposed by other authors, and reveals that the method proposed is such efficient as the others; however, bringing advantages of easy implementation and reduced computational costs.
