LEARNING ASSESSMENT AND INTERACTIVITY ANALYSIS IN ONLINE ENVIRONMENTS
In spite of the growing global adoption of distance education systems, several specialists recognize the need of research in this field. In this work, this need is identified specially in two central processes in online learning: the assessment of learning and the study of interactivity. A model based on a Cognitive Task Analysis technique is proposed as a foundation for content development, useful to carry out research analyzing online learning processes and the variables affecting them. The model has allowed the authors of this paper to map domains and consequently to construct diagnostic, formative and summative assessments, and based on this mapping to build learning materials and to analyze learning interactions. Several effects of events available in online learning environments, such as students’ skills, environmental features and instructional design could be identified with courses build based on this model.
