Mum-of-two reveals the trick she uses to banish bleach stains

An Australian mother-of-two has shared a simple trick she uses to remove tough bleach stains on clothes.

Sandra posted before and after images to the Mums Who Clean Facebook group where she revealed she used $8.99 Crayola Fabric Fine Line Markers from Officeworks to hide bleach spots from her husband's trousers.

'Thought I'd share this in case it helps someone else,' she said.

'I washed the trousers twice to remove the bleach, then applied the fabric marker and heated the area with a hot iron to set.'

She said the simple cleaning hack 'saved the day' and made the trousers appear to be brand new.

Sandra said the crucial step is ironing the dark crayon colour into the fabric in order for it to set properly and hide the bleach spots. 

The unique cleaning trick swiftly received praise from more than 500 people who liked the Facebook post.
