Australian Survivor: Jericho reveals clever way he spent $500k prize

Australian Survivor season four winner Jericho Malabonga was the second castaway to be voted off Survivor: All Stars on Tuesday. 

But despite being eliminated, he still has plenty of reasons to smile.

That's because Jericho is continuing to reap the rewards of his $500,000 prize money from 2017.

Jericho, 27, who still has his pre-fame job as a Qantas flight attendant, told  News.com.au on Wednesday that he used the money to buy a house.

'It's pretty cool when passengers recognise me, but I try not to name-drop myself,' he said. 

It comes after Jericho was the second contestant to be voted off Australian Survivor: All Stars on Tuesday. 

Despite his early exit, Jericho said he wasn't upset by the tribe's strategic move because he had already won the show before.

'Not many people can say that. I've experienced the full thing already, and some of these people still in didn't get very far [in their seasons].' 

Former Olympian and season five winner Shane Gould, 63, was the first castaway to be eliminated on Monday night.
