Meditation In A Bottle

by Alisa Princy (2020-01-07)

From the above discussion Meditation In A Bottle Review we can see that the condensed or intense situation related to death reveals the overall situation of death for average individuals which ultimately takes us to the adjustment with death, though the extent of adjustment is undetected till now in this hypothesis. But what is very important, I believe, is that as the Kubler-Ross model describes adjustment with death when it is very much conscious in one's mind. But in the current trend in civilization I see death more than denied, which may be addressed as dissociated. Because there are very few people who remember death in their daily life like the terminally ills do. In fact they totally forget death and arrange their life as if there is no such thing as death, especially when they are healthy and average adults. Finally in this part of the hypothesis I want to add an additional stage of perceiving death for any individual before the stage of denial and that I want to term as dissociation. So the traditional stages of adjustment with death for average healthy adults becomes, for this hypothesis at least, something like - 1) Dissociation, 2) Denial, 3) Anger, 4) Bargaining, 5) Depression, and 6) Adjustment. It is now very apparent that death is a continuous stress that seeks optimum adjustment for healthy living. We know that anxiety is useful in many instances. So is death anxiety at all useful for us and if so to what extent and how? For that purpose first we will have to evaluate how much traumatic or harmful is death related anxiety. Because any anxiety that causes trauma deserves adjustment at least for that extent of anxiety that causes trauma. But any extent of anxiety that might be useful in case of death related anxiety is really hard to evaluate. So at present I will limit my discussion focusing on the problematic aspect of death anxiety, specifically those aspects demanding adjustment. What is also very tough for me is to elaborate every single impact of death related impact, because I myself demanded death related anxiety as something universal with the capacity to influence every individual's daily life. So I will need some established and summarized theme about adjustment problem related to death that that will ultimately lead me to the troublesome practical aspect. The 11.30 lunch time - which often includes a sleep - the return to work at 2pm. The start time of 7 and finish at 7, often waiting until the boss leaves before venturing to collect your coat and leave the office. However this does not mean they are working hard just because they are working long hours. In an investigation into work stress (see separate paper) it was found that many office workers spent many parts of the day surfing the internet and chatting on line. In fact despite the long hours they are less productive than the 9 until 5 worker in the West. Management is often by consensus or dictatorial.
